The highly anticipated preseason festival will take place between July 25 and August 2. It will consist of preseason matches as well as open training sessions.
2023 Festival of Football participating teams
The 2023 festival of Football will feature five participating teams from across different leagues and countries. English clubs Liverpool and Tottenham will represent the Premier League in Singapore. Leicester City, another English club who recently got relegated will also travel to Singapore for the tournament.
Meanwhile, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will also compete at the tournament with new manager Thomas Tuchel preparing for his first full season in charge of the Bavarian club. Jose Mourinho’s Roma were previously set to be the fifth team in the tournament. However, the Italian club have cancelled their Asia tour due to missed payments from the organizers.

Festival of Football
The Singapore Festival of Football initially began in 2019 and it is an exciting international club-based tournament. Besides the world-class sporting action, spectators can also enjoy the complete festival experience irrespective of age. The event features a wide range of family-friendly fun activities and dining options throughout the week. It will take place at the Football Fan Interactive Festival Village at the OCBC Square.
2023 Festival of Football full schedule
The 2023 Festival of Football will begin with an open training session featuring Tottenham on July 25. Spurs were set to face Roma in the first match of the tournament the next day prior to Roma’s cancellation. The upcoming preseason competition will then finally end with the clash between Liverpool and Bayern Munich on August 2.
