On October 17, 2022, a 24-year-old homeless woman from Algeria named Dahbia B was accused of killing, torturing, and assaulting Lola Daviet. The young victim’s parents reportedly reported her missing at approximately 4:30 pm on Friday, October 14, when she failed to come home, according to the New York Post.
Around 11:30 p.m. on October 14, Lola Daviet was discovered in a suitcase, tied and gagged, with the numerals 1 and 0 taped to her chest. The bag was left in the courtyard of the apartment building where the 12-year-old girl and her parents resided when it was found by a homeless man.

The child’s parents were daycare providers in northeast Paris’ 19th arrondissement. On Saturday, October 15, when a security camera showed the homeless lady entering the premises with the victim, the suspect—who had psychiatric problems—was detained.
Lola Daviet died from asphyxiation.
Police claim that Lola was transported to her building’s basement where a homeless lady allegedly attacked, tormented, and strangled her. They also stated that the victim’s throat had been cut before being shoved inside the luggage. According to a postmortem examination, the 12-year-old girl asphyxiated to death.
The victim’s parents stated that Lola was supposed to come home on Friday, October 14, since they had a three-hour journey to make it to the family town north of Paris. According to the source, the victim’s father examined security footage of their building after getting more anxious about their daughter’s whereabouts. In the video, Lola is seen walking into the building with an unknown person at about 3:20 on Friday.
The homeless lady, who was described as being shaky, reportedly left the building 30 minutes after being seen entering it with Lola on security footage, according to witnesses, as reported by the New York Post. The witness further stated that as the suspect exited the building, she was carrying a suitcase.
According to reports, the suspect was detained on October 16 while out with her sister. According to the police, a 43-year-old guy was also detained and accused of helping the lady. Police have not yet established the reason for the horrifying murder committed by a homeless lady with mental health problems.
