In the midst of a shocking attack, French politician Vincent Jeanbrun found his family in a shocking situation.

The continued tensions during the turmoil in France were exacerbated when attackers targeted the Mayor’s house. The attackers struck in the early hours of the morning, not only attacking the mayor’s residence but also setting fire to the family car. 

Vincent Jeanbrun’s Family Was Attacked By Protestors In France

While the mayor, Vincent Jeanbrun, was travelling, his wife, Melanie Nowak, and their two young children were attacked, during which Nowak also suffered an injury.

Melanie Nowak broke her leg, and one of their kids was also hurt. The family’s danger increased when the attackers fired mortar fireworks as they attempted to flee.

Mayor Jeanbrun posted a first-person account of the incident on social media. As on the previous evenings, he performed his duties at the town hall when his home was attacked.

He explained how the attackers forced entry into the home and set it on fire, risking the lives of his wife and two young children. His wife and one of their children were hurt as a result of their valiant attempts to defend themselves and escape the attackers.

Who is Vincent Jeanbrun?

Jeanbrun was born on May 5, 1984. He is a French politician from The Republican political party. 

He has been the mayor of L’Ha-les-Roses since 2014 and was reelected in 2020. Additionally, he represents the majority coalition as president of the Regional Council of Île-de-France.

He ran for the 7th constituency in Val-de-Marne in the French parliamentary election of 2022, but he finished third in the first round.

Elisabeth Borne, the prime minister, harshly denounced the occurrence, calling it reprehensible and stressing the need for peace and security to be restored immediately.
