Anadolu Agency claims that Portuguese head coach Jorge Jesus visited Al-Hilal on Sunday. Until the end of the 2023–24 season, Al-Hilal announced on Twitter that it had signed a contract with the 68-year-old football coach.
Between July 2018 and January 2019, Jesus served as Al-Hilal’s head coach and led the team to the Saudi Super Cup victory. The former head coach of Benfica’s Fenerbahce team won the Turkish Cup in June 2023 before stepping down from his position with the Istanbul-based team.

Jorge Fernando Pinheiro de Jesus, a Portuguese professional football manager and former player, was born on July 24, 1954. He now serves as the manager of Saudi professional league club Al Hilal.
He began his professional career at Sporting CP and played for 12 other teams throughout the course of his 17-year career, which includes nine seasons in the Primeira Liga.
Jesus started coaching in 1990, and in the 1995–96 season, Felgueiras was his first stop in the top division. He continued working with several teams before joining Benfica in 2009, where he won eleven trophies (a club record for a single manager, winning every domestic trophy at least once), made it to two UEFA Europa League finals with them in six seasons, and set several other records.
