The anime was supposed to premiere in April of 2023. However, the release date for the anime has been moved back to July 3, 2023, because of the COVID-19 virus.

Masamune-Kun’s Revenge R season 2 episode 1 is scheduled for release on July 3, 2023, at 11 pm JST on Tokyo MX.
The original voice actors will make a comeback in the premiere episode of season 2 of Masamune-Kun’s Revenge R. Voices for the characters have been provided by Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer) and Ayaka Ohashi (The God of the High School), among others.

Fans’ Expectations from Masamune-Kun’s Revenge R season 2 episode 1
From chapter 30 of Hazuki Takeoka’s manga, the series will adapt the tale. The 2017 anime season adapted all of the manga’s first 29 chapters.
Masamune Makabe, the protagonist, was bullied as a child by Aki Adagaki, a beautiful and wealthy girl. Makabe was called “Piggy” because of his overweight appearance. Therefore, Makabe seeks vengeance against his tormentor by becoming a more attractive high school student.
At the close of the first season, we saw the Karaoke party scenes from the Cultural Festival Arc. Makabe arrived at the play on time in the season one finale, and the long-awaited kissing sequence was also featured. Whether or not Masamune still has revenge on his mind, and how his schemes are captured in the second season, is a question that remains unanswered.

Medialink has licensed the second season of the manga by Hazuki Takeoka, which was produced by Silver Link under the direction of Mirai Minato, for South and Southwest Asia, and Oceania. The series will be available for streaming on Ani-One Asia’s YouTube channel.
