The athlete, who competed in the over-85 division, won gold in the 100-meter sprint, the 200-meter sprint, and the shotput competitions. She won each of the difficult competitions by outpacing three to five opponents thanks to her outstanding speed, strength, and accuracy.

Rambai is an Indian athlete. She has been in the news because she won three gold medals in the 18th National Open Athletics Championships at the age of 106.
In the little town of Kadma in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri, she was born on 1 January 1917. She was raised in poverty and spent her early years working in the fields of agriculture. She has a granddaughter named Sharmila Sangwan.
She is currently 106 years old.
Her career
Rambai made the decision to start her own athletic adventure after being inspired by Man Kaur. In November of 2021, she made her running debut in Varanasi. Since then, she has won multiple medals in contests in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Kerala. In the Open Masters Athletics Champions, which were held in Vadodara in June of the following year, she broke Kaur’s record.
She has competed in 14 sports events in India and overseas over the past two years, winning an astonishing total of nearly 200 medals. She recently won three gold medals at the 18th National Open Athletics Championships.
