According to a bulletin issued by the hospital on Wednesday, Parvathi Siddaramaiah, the wife of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, has been taken to a private hospital after her health condition became unstable.
According to sources close to the Chief Minister, she was hospitalized on Tuesday night owing to fever and respiratory issues.
A news release from Manipal Hospitals stated that Parvathi Siddaramaiah, the 75-year-old Chief Minister’s wife, is undergoing treatment in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and is stable while receiving oxygen support.
It was further mentioned that she would be shifted to a regular ward later in the day. Around 11 a.m., Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also met her and took stock of details about her condition. Since then, wishes have poured in for Parvathi Siddaramaiah’s good health. Many leaders from all over the country send their heartfelt wishes to her through social media.

Parvathi Siddaramaiah is renowned for being the spouse of the present Karnataka Chief Minister C. Siddaramaiah. She has been in the news because she was recently hospitalized because of a fever and respiratory issues.
She is a native of Karnataka, India, and is currently living in the Mysore district of the state. Although nothing is known about her past, it is known that she married into the Kuruba Community, which is thought to be the third most powerful caste in Karnataka after the Lingayats and the Vokkaligas.
Parvathi Siddaramaiah is married to Karnataka Chief Minister C. Siddaramaiah. The couple are the parents of two sons. Rakesh, her eldest son and the political heir apparent to his father, passed away at the age of 38 in 2016 from multiple organ failure. Yathindra, the surviving child, ran in the 2018 Legislative Assembly elections and won by more than 45,000 votes from Varuna in Mysuru, which was once his father’s seat.
