2023 Intercontinental Cup India vs Lebanon final schedule, date, venue, latest score, & group standings
On Friday, India settled for 0-0 draw against Lebanon at the 2023 Intercontinental Cup as both sides qualified for the championship match on Sunday. India finished the group stage on top with seven points from three games, including two victories and one draw. Meanwhile, Lebanon finished group stage with five points from total of three games including just one victory. Although India’s 0-0 draw against Lebanon snapped their seven match win streak, experts believe that India will lift the title in front of their home crowd.
Currently, India are placed 101st in the FIFA World rankings and Lebanon sit in 99th place. Hence, fans believe this championship match will be a close contest and either side can emerge victorious. Notably, 2023 Intercontinental Cup is the third edition of this prestigious tournament and India won the inaugural edition in 2018, before finishing fourth in the next edition.
