Recently, the results were announced, unveiling an interesting outcome. Significantly, Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh both received the highly coveted first place in the NEET UG 2023 AIR (All India Rank). Both applicants received an outstanding percentile of 99.9999019 and a perfect score of 720.
With a perfect score of 720, Prabanjan J, who is from Tamil Nadu, a state renowned for its hostility to centralized medical admission exams, took first place in the NEET-UG exam this year. According to the NTA’s tie-breaker procedure, he was ranked higher than applicants with similar scores.
This rule states that the applicant with the highest biology score gets ranked above the rest. If both the biology and chemistry scores are the same, the same rule is followed in physics. If the scores are still the same, the older applicant receives a higher rank.
In Prabanjan J’s case, his age played a crucial role in achieving the coveted AIR 1. Since the results were announced, he has become the talk of the town, with people from all over the country pouring out wishes on social media for him. So, here’s what we know about him:
