Kim Ahyeong is a strong character who will appear frequently in the following chapters because she is in the same operation as Kim Gyeongsoo.
She kicked Gyeongsoo repeatedly, but none of them landed on him. Instead of kicking, Ahyeong attempted to lift him off the seat.
When she was about to pick up Gyeongsoo, he punched her in the face. Gyeongsoo made fun of her by saying she was trying to get him up but was now lying down.
The general then explained the operation, the Phoenix on top of a Paulownia tree, to Gyeongsoo. According to accounts, the managers of the target drug organisation met in a hotel on the last weekend of the month.
They would wait for their time, and the plan would be carried out by KNP SOU’s second platoon, directed by Superintendent Kim Ahyeong, and the squad lead by Senior Officer Kim Gyeongsoo. Ahyeong inquired of the general about the reliability of the news.
He explained to her that Gyeongsoo obtained the knowledge through interrogation. Ahyeong informed the general that she did not believe the report and requested permission to question them again.
