The second promotional video and release date for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Am I Actually the Strongest novel series was posted on the show’s official website on Friday, June 9, 2023.
Am I Actually the Strongest? The Japanese novel series by Sai Sumimori will soon be adapted into an anime series for television. Sumimori had the idea for a pure novel in September 2018, then in May 2019, she and Ai Takahashi came up with the idea for a light novel adaption.

The first episode of the new anime series Am I Actually the Strongest? will air on Japan’s Animazing!!! block on July 1, 2023, on Saturday.
Kodansha publishes the light novel series in Japan, and Kodansha USA is responsible for translation and publication in the English language. The original edition of the novel Am I Actually the Strongest? was published by the self-publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro, and it is still available there. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Re:Zero are just two examples of the many successful isekai series that got their start on the site.
The Cast of Am I Actually the Strongest?
As part of the most recent updates, the show’s opening and closing themes were also revealed. Reset Life?, performed by Lezel, will serve as the opening theme, while Himi CHUPre-Love Magic, performed by StarShi’ne, will serve as the closing theme.

Takashi Naoya is directing the series for Staple Entertainment, with Matsuo Asami serving as his assistant. Tatsuya Takahashi and Tetsuya Yamada are the show’s supervisors and head writers, respectively. The character designs are being done by Shoko Yasuda.
