What Exactly Happened in Summoned to Another World For a Second Time Episode 9
A Second Trip to a Foreign Planet Episode 9 focused on Toma and his take on the events up to that point. Setsu initially refused to help the people of the Isekai realm when he was originally summoned there, but eventually changed his mind. Toma was shaken up after hearing news of the war, but Setsu reassured him and told him to be brave.
Upon Toma’s success, the King bestowed upon him the title of Silver Knight after only a few months. The latter discovered a headless statue with a cursed jewel during a mission, and the statue convinced him to steal the jewel, telling him it would give him the strength and powers he sought.
Granting Wishes
Toma and Setsu were reunited at the signing of the treaty that ended the war. He told him about the enchanted jewel that has the power to grant his every wish. The first group contacted Setsu and requested a return to their home world. The latter, however, declined the offer and thereby unintentionally broke the agreement.
Toma, in his wrath, sent Setsu back to the actual world to achieve his aim, but he never made it back. He was able to see glimpses of a site where four people were being tortured for an experiment while conversing with the jewel in the location where he found it. Toma made it his mission to save the four of them, and he united them into an organization with the promise of vengeance against the world.
