The father of 16-year-old Sakshi, who was stabbed 21 times in Rohini’s Shahbad Dairy neighborhood of Delhi, claimed in an FIR to the police that his daughter frequently brought up Sahil in front of them. He insisted, nonetheless, that she devote her attention to her studies at such an early age.

Sakshi was stabbed around 21 times before being hit with a cement slab and killed instantly. 34 wounds were visible on her body, and her skull was broken. After perpetrating the horrifying act, the suspect, Sahil, was apprehended in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, and the entire episode was captured on CCTV. In Shahbad Dairy in northwest Delhi on Wednesday, the Delhi Police reenacted the crime scene. Sahil was taken to the area early on Wednesday due to security concerns, claims a senior police officer.
Three of Sakshi’s pals, Bhawna, Ajay alias Jhabru, and Neetu, were reportedly invited to join the investigation and their statements have been recorded, according to police. It should be emphasised that the suspect has admitted to the police that he killed the girl, according to police sources who spoke to India Today.
When the accused was shown CCTV footage, he allegedly said, “I am the man on the video. I murdered Sakshi.” Sahil allegedly came up with the murderous scheme two days before the occurrence. In front of her friends, Sakshi rejected him and refused to patch things up.
Sahil spent some time sitting in a neighbouring park after killing Sakshi. He then walked to the Rithala metro station and pretended to have tossed the knife into the bushes there. Then, according to police, he boarded a bus at the Anand Vihar ISBT and traveled to Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh.
