Ambati Rayudu announces retirement from all forms of cricket

Ambati Rayudu, who is currently a batsman for the Chennai Super Kings announced his retirement ahead of the CSK vs GT IPL 2023 final. Rayudu, who has been a consistent part of the Chennai Super Kings will finally bid farewell to the franchise, the fans, and the sport. Rayudu previously retired from International Cricket after he got omission from the 2019 World Cup Indian squad.

He has also even made the decision to leave domestic cricket previously but later decided to come back. However, Ambati is finally set to say goodbye to domestic cricket for real this time. Ambati Rayudu is a cricket player who primarily plays as a right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper. Rayudu began his cricketing career after his father initially enrolled him in a cricket academy. He was just in the third grade during that time. Throughout his time in the academy, Rayudu took part in 55 ODIs and scored 1694 runs. He also took part in 6 T20s and scored 42 runs.

When he reached the age of 16, in 2002, Rayudu made his Ranji Trophy debut. He eventually gained prominence after scoring 177 runs against England in the Under-19 ODI series. He event went on to captain the Under-19 cricket team back in 2004 for the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
