For those unversed, Bharatha Circus is directed by Sohan Seenulal and stars Binu Pappu, Shine Tom Chacko, M A Nishad, Sunil Sugadha, Jaffer Idukki, Aaradhya Ann, and Megha Thomas, among others, as a film that sheds light on the ongoing issues of casteism in society. Muhad Vembayam wrote the script and Anooj Shaji produced it, with music by Bijibal Maniyil and lyrics by BK Harinarayanan. The film’s editing was done by Saajan.
Plot
The story revolves around Laxmanan Kani, an ordinary middle-aged man who comes to the police station with a complaint of severe mental conflict. The plot begins with a complaint from a forest range area, followed by an investigation and the revelation of certain unprecedented truths. Bharatha Circus is a Malayalam political investigation drama based on current events that shows how the negative effects of casteism have not been eradicated from society despite numerous innovations.
