Funnily enough, while the Delhi government has banned crackers during Diwali, no action was taken after they went off in Seemapuri after the India vs Pakistan match
The upcoming Diwali in Delhi will be the third successive one where the incumbent AAP government has put a blanket ban on crackers.
Failing to combat pollution since its been in power, the only solution the sitting government in the capital has come up with every year is to curb the bursting of crackers. Appeasement politics to cater to a section of the woke society and a particular community to rake in the votes has been largely what has transpired in Delhi over the years with 2021 seeing nothing different.
Delhi’s Seemapuri Witnesses People Bursting Crackers To Celebrate Pakistan’s Win
How bursting of crackers on one day of the year leads to the gargantuan levels of pollution in the city across the year is something these politicians bereft of any brain cells can best understand. And the pollution emanated from crackers seems to vary from occasion to occasion as well with the ones sent off after Pakistan defeated India in the T20 World Cup 2021 apparently spreading oxygen.
Dear @ArvindKejriwal,

As Pakistan clobbered India by 10 wickets on Sunday, the Seemapuri village in Delhi dominated by a particular section of the society saw a raft of fireworks go up in the air. And despite the Delhi government having enforced a ban on crackers in the city, no action has been taken till now against the miscreants who reveled in Pakistan’s win.
This wasn’t an isolated incident though with Punjab and Kashmir seeing widespread celebrations after the Pakistanis managed to finally defeat India in the world cup.
