2022/23 Premier League prize money by position
For the 2022/23 Premier League season, the reward for finishing as Premier League champions is estimated to be around ยฃ44m/$54.4m. This value, added with sponsorship bonuses, TV money, and other payments would come up to a staggering ยฃ150m/$186m.
As we go further down the table, the prize money decreases at around ยฃ2.5m/$3.1m per position on average. Some positions like the fifth place and fourth place are only separated by ยฃ2.2m/$2.7m in Premier League prize money. However, there is a big difference when taking into consideration the drop-off from qualifying for the Champions League.

2022/23 Premier League latest table standings
Manchester City have secured their fifth title across the last six seasons, while Leicester City, Leeds United and Everton are all potential relegation candidates as things stand on the last day. Meanwhile, bottom-placed Southampton have already buried their hopes of avoiding relegation.
The top four teams in the table, will qualify for the UEFA Champions League, while the fifth and sixth placed teams will qualify for the UEFA Europa League. Meanwhile, the seventh placed team secures a UEFA Europa Conference League spot.
On the other hand, the bottom three teams (18th-20th) will face relegation and be demoted to the second division.
