Cristiano Ronaldo was seething with his team with him ripping into the players during his half-time in Manchester United vs Atalanta
Although they eventually managed to win their Champions League encounter against Atalanta earlier this week, things were far from straightforward for Manchester United on the day.
The side faced a 2-0 deficit as it headed into half-time with the team being schooled by its Serie A competitor. Atalanta were wiping the floor with the home side, a performance which left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer clutching at straws with his job on the line.
However, luckily for him, his side managed to step up and overhaul the 2-0 deficit. The side went onto not only come out unscathed of the affair but sealed a win on the day as Cristiano Ronaldo scored the club’s third goal in the tailend of the encounter.

Ronaldo though had more than just an impact on the game for his side. Reports have emerged of how the Portuguese tore apart his counterparts at half-time with him absolutely raging for the manner his side was rolling over.
A Manchester United source went onto reveal what had taken place in the Old Trafford dressing room after the end of the first 45 minutes “Cristiano addressed the whole team and told them that the performance was unacceptable.
“He asked if they were not ashamed and said this was not how Manchester United perform in front of their own fans. He told them they needed to win the game and, if they didn’t, they might not qualify for the next stage of the Champions League,” the source said.
