LeBron James was far from pleased with Cam Payne with him asking the Suns guard to stay humble after the two exchanged words
The Suns vs Lakers game at the Staples game was an emotionally charged one. To say that tempers flew high during the encounter would be an understatement with a bevy of fights erupting across the course during the showdown.
The Lakers players found themselves taking centrestage in all of the brawls with the most notable one being that of the feud between Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis. The two Lakers peers were seen exchanging words with each other before a shoving match got underway as players were needed to intervene to quite things down.

However, the Lakers players weren’t only fighting between themselves. The game also saw Cam Payne and James have a go at each other with James seen asking Payne to stay humble proceeding the squabble.

James rejected Cam Johnson during a play before going onto dog it right after in apparent disinterest.
Rajon Rondo had an incident with a courtside fan as well with the Lakers player making a gun gesture towards the fan in question on two occasions. The fan eventually went onto slap Rondo’s hand away, an action which lead to him being ejected from the game.
The Lakers, Davis and Howard meanwhile tried to quell the noise over the beef between AD and Rondo after the game with all parties involved issuing statements on how the fight was nothing more than a disagreement over the game. The Lakers slipped to their second consecutive defeat in the NBA 2021 season, losses which came in the wake of the side losing six preseason games.
