The final day of the league stage started off on Sunday with a major victory for Mumbai Indians, against the Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Following their win, MI have secured the final playoff spot alongside Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings, and Lucknow Super Giants.

IPL 2023 playoffs qualification
The Mumbai Indians secured the fourth and final playoff berth by chasing down a target of 201 runs. MI managed to reach 201/2 in just 18 overs with Cameron Green going on an unbeaten century hitting 100 runs off 47 balls. Captain Rohit Sharma led from the front with a crucial half-century, hitting 56 runs off 37 deliveries.
SRH earlier set a formidable 200/5 record off 20 overs, with impressive batting performances from Mayank Agarwal and Vivrant Sharma. Mayank scored 83 runs off 46 balls, while Vivrant scored 69 runs off 47 deliveries.
Following the results, the Mumbai Indians secured the fourth spot with 16 points. On top is the Gujarat Titans with an impressive 20 points from 14 matches. In second and third place are the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) both with 17 points.
Meanwhile, behind MI are the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), both tied with 14 points. The Kolkata Knight Riders finished in seventh place with 12 points, Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Delhi Capitals (DC) came in eighth and ninth with 12 and 10 points. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) finished at the bottom with 8 points.
