Tracy Vanderhulst is a former teacher. Apart from living in Yucaipa, Tracy has lived in many different parts of California like Fontana, Moreno Valley, Redlands, and San Bernardino. Tracy Vanderhulst earlier was employed by Beaumont Unified School District which serves California’s Beaumont and Cherry Valley, as a substitute teacher.
The Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District which serves California’s Yucaipa and Calimesa hired Tracy as a high school teacher in 2014.
Tracy Vanderhulst served at the Yucaipa High School on Yucaipa Boulevard in Yucaipa being a math teacher. As per the reports by the school, she offered “a rigorous mathematics curriculum and also deep caring for her students”.
38-year-old Tracy Vanderhulst was also named Yucaipa High School’s Teacher of the Year in 2017. Her annual salary in that year was $78,063, which decreased by $72,631 in 2018 before increasing to $99,907 in 2019 and $109,389 in 2020.
Years after, Tracy Vanderhulst was accused of having intercourse with a male Yucaipa High School student which was unlawful as the student was just 16 years old. The allegations which are made against her had been investigated by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District.
At around 11:00 p.m. on the 18th of May, 2023, Tracy Vanderhulst got arrested and booked into San Bernardino County Sheriff Central Detention Center in San Bernardino. She got out on bail after posting a $30,000 fine.
Vanderhulst is out of her job as she is no longer an employee at the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District. More information about Tracy’s termination or her resignation are not known yet.
This is the third case of the kind from the same school in less than 10 years, in California.
