With NBA finally return to the Toronto Raptors home arena for the 2021 season in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, rapper Drake ensured he marked his presence in the side’s season opener.

The team’s ardent supporter was back ringside for the Raptors showdown with the Wizards. And the rapper couldn’t refrain himself from getting involved in the game once again with some seen scuffling with Wizards’ Montrezl Harrel during the second quarter of the matchup.

Montrezl Harrell Denies Beef With Drake After Getting Fined

The incident which was caught on camera showed Drake and the Wizards center, Harrell exchanging words as things got heated between the two. While what was said between the two isn’t known, Harrell was issued a technical fine for his involvement in the brawl with him fined $2,000 as well.

Fred VanVleet went onto convert the free throw he earned from the foul as well with the set of events failing to swing in Harrell’s favour on the night. However, the Wizards player has since gone onto deny that he has a beef with Drake with him instead insisting that it was a Raptors technical coach who was responsible for the fracas.
