His obituary states that Michael Sweeney, 70, passed away on Monday. He was shot in the head after a “road rage incident,” according to a police report. There is no information available from the police on potential suspects or arrests.
Speaking to the media, Cincinnati police said that at about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to an accident and discovered a 70-year-old male who had been shot. According to the police report, Michael Sweeney was in the car with two other people who were unharmed by the shooting. After being transported, Sweeney passed away at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Authorities report that the culprit was operating a four-door, silver or gray car with severely tinted windows and a temporary license plate, probably a Chevrolet or a Nissan. The murder division of the Cincinnati Police Department is looking into the shooting.
