The Jets vs Wild NFL game was an enthralling affair. Both the sides went at loggerheads across the matchup, a tie which saw the barest of margins come into play to give us the winner on the day.
However, the contest wasn’t only special owing to the riveting nature of the game. The fight which broke out between Wild winger Marcus Foligno and Jets’ Brendan Dillon saw Marcus lose his bonkers as he landed a staggering punch on Brendan.

The MMA-esque punch ended up missing Brendan by a whisker, a blow which could have seriously left him knackered had Marcus managed to connect. His wild swipe ended up sparking a fight between the two with both lashing out at each other as they exchanged blows with Foligno managing to connect with a lethal uppercut.

Things were eventually broken up between the two after 30 minutes into the brawl with either player handed a penalty for his involved in the feud. Both eventually returned as Wild won 6-5 in overtime in what was an edge of the seat thriller.
“Oh yeah. I still don’t know where that came from. Pretty funny. One thing about Marcus is when he snaps, he snaps. So I don’t think that was pre-meditated, I think he just went with it.”
“I went, ‘What the hell was that?’ And he goes, ‘I don’t know, I blacked out.’ …I probably did it to him, that’s probably where he learned it,” Nick, Marcus’ brother said when asked about his reaction to Marcus throwing the wild punch.
