The club’s leader informs Eve that she must do a task before they can proceed with their terms and conditions after she accepts them, and she then outright admits that Madam Catherine wants Eve killed. When Eve first hears that, it appears as though she is stunned, but soon after, we learn that she was already aware of the entire situation.
