Kyrie Irving has not been called up by his team Brooklyn Nets after not getting vaccinated which might lead to him opting to retire early
Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving has been at the center of a lot of speculations recently because of his vaccination situation. Irving has not been vaccinated yet and as per the rules New York, any player who has not been vaccinated won’t be allowed to play their home games. However, Brooklyn Nets have recently made it clear that they won’t be calling up Irving at all is he does not get vaccinated.
While most of the league players have already gotten vaccinated, Irving seems to be following a different path. He was absent from the team’s opening game against Milwaukee Bucks and they certainly missed him. Nets lost their opening game in which they were the favorites. With Nets not calling him up a major question arises that will Kyrie Irving retire after recent vaccination drama?

There have been a lot of speculations recently after Brooklyn Nets made it known that they won’t allow Irving to play. Irving has also stuck to his beliefs and has no intentions of getting vaccinated anytime soon. This has led to fans and media question his true intentions in the league going forward.
However, the Brooklyn Nets’ and Irving’s fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Irving himself cleared the air for this situation. He was on Instagram live recently where he made it clear that he still has a lot to do in the league and will not go out like this.
The decision of not calling up Irving was made by the general manager of the league who made it known that he won’t allow anybody to participate in the team part-time and wants the team to move in the same direction.
Why his Kyrie Irving not getting vaccinated?
Irving has informed the media that the reason of not getting vaccinated is his personal choice and he believes that it is best for him. Apart from this not remarks have been made by the Brooklyn Nets star. The fans would certainly hope that he changes his mind and can play as soon as possible for the Brooklyn Nets.
