Fans of Tottenham, Everton, and even Watford are likely already familiar with Richarlison’s propensity for using a bird impersonation to mark goals. The Brazilian, who was known for starting the “Pombo Dance” in his native country, moved to England from Fluminense in 2017.
Actually, the pop band Os Perseguidores is the source of the moves. “The pigeon dance came from a group from Rio de Janeiro who had a song in around 2012,” Richarlison reportedly remarked.
When he performed the dance, a trend began and everyone began to imitate him, the player remarked. He further believes that has contributed to the band’s profile rising.

Tite, the former manager of Brazil, refuted the notion and claimed that the celebration does not disrespec the opponents. He remarked that he had no problem doing the celebration with Richarlison, however, they were very careful since other people would say it was disrespectful.
They never want it to be taken the wrong way as anything other than a feeling of happiness for the outcome and the goal, and not that he is disrespecting the opponent, which will never be the case, Tite remarked.
