Dr. Charles Stanley career, education, and family
Dr. Charles was a pastor emeritus of the First Baptist Church based in Atlanta, Georgia. He served as senior pastor for more than 48 years. Charles Stanley was also the founder and president of “In Touch Ministries”. It massively broadcasts Stanley’s sermons through the Radio and television. From early 1984 to 1986, Charles Stanley also worked as President of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Charles Stanley was born on the 25th of September in 1932, and he hailed from Dry Fork, Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Charles became a born-again Christian when he was 12 years. At 14 years of age, Charles started his life’s work in the Christian Ministry. Charles enrolled himself in the Bachelor of Arts in the University of Richmond.
Charles Stanley then studied further at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth and he earned a degree in Master of Divinity. Stanley is also having a degree in Master of Theology and a Doctor of Theology degree from the Luther Rice Seminary, Florida.
In early 1972, he launched a religious television program which is named, The Chapel Hour. Charles Stanley’s and the broadcasts discussed topics including finances, emotional matters, parenting, personal crises, and relationships.
Stanley married Anna J. Stanley but they, unfortunately, separated in 1992 and they together have 2 kids namely Becky Stanley and Andy Stanley.
