Know about the agent and entire management team of Jalen Hurts
For decades, the world of professional sports has been dominated by men, from players to executives to agents.
This has been especially true in the NFL, a league and sport that has long been regarded as the most male-dominated of all.
However, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts may be changing that.
Who all are a part of Jalen Hurts management team and who is his agent Nicole Lynn
He has an all-female management team, including his agent Nicole Lynn, who helped him land a five-year contract extension worth a record $255 million.
Hurts is managed by an all-women management team from the sports agency Klutch Sports Group and the team of all women, three of whom are Black, is a rarity in the NFL world and has received notable attention for setting a precedent in diversifying sports management, a historically male-dominated industry.
Nicole Lynn, his primary agent, was promoted to president of the company’s football division earlier this month
Lynn is joined by Chantal Romain, Shakeemah Simmons-Winter, Jenna Malphrus and Rachel Everett who manage different aspects of Hurts’ communications and marketing strategy.
As American society becomes more modern, there are more opportunities than ever for women to participate in professional sports, including men’s leagues.
The NBA hired the first female referees in any major American pro sports league many years ago, and the NFL followed suit in 2015 by hiring Sarah Thomas as its first full-time female official.
Violet Bidwell became the league’s first majority owner of a team over 50 years ago, and Georgia Frontiere became the second in the late 1970s when she took over the Los Angeles Rams.
Hurts had a breakout season in 2022, making the Pro Bowl for the first time and leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl for the first time.
He threw for 304 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 70 yards and three touchdowns, but Philly blew a 10-point halftime lead and lost on a last-second field goal to the Kansas City Chiefs.
