Ciro Immobile, the star striker and leader of Lazio, was in a car accident in Rome on Sunday morning with the video now viral
When he was driving with his two girls in their Land Rover SUV, a tram crashed into it. Lucky for Immobile and his children, the crash didn’t hurt them too badly.
On social media, upsetting pictures of the wrecked car were posted, which led Immobile to reveal that the tram ran a red light. Even so, the football player, who is 33, was able to joke that his arm only hurts a little.
Ciro Immobile was taken to the hospital to be checked out, and Lazio’s medical staff revealed in a statement that he had hurt his back and ribs.

Ciro Immobile’s impressive career: From Serie A standout to Lazio legend
Ciro Immobile is known as one of the best goal-scorers in the history of Serie A. He has scored 192 goals in 314 games, which is a lot. Before he moved to Torino, he played for Pescara and Genoa. In his only season with Torino, he scored an amazing 23 goals. He moved to Borussia Dortmund in Germany because of how well he played, but he had trouble in the Bundesliga and was finally sent on loan to Sevilla.
In 2016, Ciro Immobile went back to Torino for a short time before he was bought by Lazio for just over £7 million that summer. He has been a very important player for Lazio. In all tournaments, he has played in 289 games and scored 194 goals.
At the moment, it is not clear if Immobile will be able to play in Lazio’s next game against Torino. Lazio would be in the group stage of the Champions League for only the second time in the last 16 years if they finished second in the league.
