He says that Kings security then approached him and thought he had started the fight, so he was taken out of the arena. “Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that — despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur — racial bias remains prevalent,” the rapper said. “Security saw a disagreement between a Black man and a white woman and immediately assumed that I was at fault.”

E-40’s claims of racial bias spark discussions about racism in sports

E 40 is a big fan of the Golden State Warriors. He has been to hundreds of home and away games and sits right next to the Warriors bench at the Chase Centre, where the team plays. He even went to the White House with the team when it went there to enjoy winning the NBA championship last year.

The Kings say they will look into what happened, but E 40’s claims about racial bias in the building have made people worried. “Any time a white woman and a black man are involved in a dispute, the white woman will be believed most of the time,” the Daily Mail reported.

“The Kings claim they will investigate, but we will see what they come up with. If what E 40 says is true, will they punish the white woman? I won’t hold my breath.” The event has led to a lot of talk online about racism in sports and the role of security in dealing with conflicts.
