Thabo Bester is a convicted criminal who escaped from South Africa’s Mangaung Correctional Centre in early 2022 after showing fake death. He was on a run for a year being apprehended on 8th 2023, in Arusha, Tanzania. Thabo Bester was born on the 13th of June in 1986.

Thabo Bester’s partner is Dr. Nandipha Magudumana. Nandipha got engaged to Thabo without her legal separation from her first husband. She also abandoned her kids to be with Bester.

Thabo Bester was missing for a year after it was thought that he has committed suicide by setting fire in prison in May of 2022. But a recent post-mortem investigation has determined that Thabo’s burnt body discovered was not of him.
In reply to this, a manhunt began in March of 2023. He has already been proven guilty of a number of crimes, including the murder and defilement of women whom he met on Facebook. Thabo was guilty in early 2012 of killing his lover, who was a model named Nomfundo Tyhulu, after abusing her. Thabo Bester was convicted of robbing and defiling two further women in late 2011 while he is in a life sentence prison.
He wasn’t formally recognized by the Department of Home Affairs for being a South African citizen. As per reports of, Minister Motsoaledi, Bester Thabo was discovered in a possession of an American passport while posing as Tom Williams Kelly when he was apprehended in Tanzania.
‘Maria Mabaso, Bester’s mother was never allowed to register him after she gave birth to him, Thabo was born on the 13th of June in 1986,’ as per Motsoaledi, who said that this was due to problems with his bad upbringing.
Alongside him, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana was also detained. Bester Thabo was also named a “Facebook rapist” who was guilty of both rape and murder.
