Reason Behind Why Was Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 Delayed Emerges

Fury vs Wilder 3 was delayed due to a substantial amount of time as Wilder failed to show up in the ring. The news which came in from his camp was of Wilder having trouble putting his gloves on, a plight which ended up seeing the bout begin at 5am UK whilst the original slated time was 4:30am.

Wilder had decided to use Everlast MX gloves for the fight after his complaints over Fury’s gloves were dismissed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Wilder had claimed Fury padded his gloves with horse hair which ended up making the gloves thinner, henceforth increasing the impact of the punches Fury landed.

“What happened was Fury’s glove that he’s chosen, which is the same thing he had last time, had little to no padding. The rest of it was horse hair, we thought horse hair was illegal and out of the question but they said it was [okay], so we said cool,” Wilder had said hours before the clash.

Wilder looks likely to bring out the same excuse after he was routed by Fury in the trilogy fight. Despite showing immense gallantry to recover from a knockdown in round 3. However, the knockdown in round 10 was too much for his tiring legs to cope with as Fury capitalized on him catapulting to finish him in round 11 and with it take the series 2-0.
