A relived Andy Murray opened up on how he had lost his wedding ring and tennis shoes before eventually being reunited with them
After an angst filled couple of days, everything has eventually worked out just perfectly for Andy Murray.
Ahead of his first round match at the BNP Paribas Open, the Brit tennis star had gone onto misplace his tennis shoes and wedding ring. Murray who had left his shoes under his car for them to dry had gone onto realise the next day that he had also left his wedding ring tied to them.
The tennis player revealed that this realisation had dawned upon him after being quizzed by his physio upon the whereabouts of his wedding ring. And as he went to retrieve his tennis shoes, Murray was left anguished after finding both the wedding ring and shoes were not under his car.
Taking to Instagram to reveal what transpired thereafter, Murray dwelled into how he was on the verge of filing a police report before both the items were eventually found in the lost and found department of his hotel.

Murray also talked about how this wasn’t the first time he had misplaced his wedding ring with him detailing how he was in the dog house with his wife Kim.
Murray explained: “Basically the day after we realised they were, let’s say, misplaced or someone had moved them, I went and I spoke to the lost and found a couple times at the hotel that day. They said they’d found nothing.
“I was going to file a police report to try to get them back or to increase my chance of getting them back.
“Anyway, I went and spoke to the hotel, explained to them that was what I was going to do. They then decided to take all of my details down, the details of the shoes, ring, took me out to the car park and asked exactly where it was I parked.
“I asked them if they could look at the cameras. About an hour later they turned up. One of the employees at the hotel found them in their lost and found.”
Not only did Murray’s wedding ring return but also his electric game as a gripping performance saw him ease his way into the second round at Indian Wells.
