After his split with Jennifer Lopez, the misery continued to pile on Alex Rodriguez with Fox producers mocking him and his video of being fed popcorn by Cameron Diaz
This hasn’t been the best of years for Alex Rodriguez.
Ever since his long term relationship with singer Jennifer Lopez went down the drain as the duo split up with her getting back with Ben Affleck, A-Rod has struggled to cope with the breakup. Whilst he’s publicly talked about being in an incredible space following the downtick in the relationship, news emanating about him has clearly suggested otherwise.
Back to his duties with Fox as the MLB playoffs get underway, Rodriguez failed to receive any love from his employers and counterparts as well. Midway through the third-innings of the Tampa Bay Rays vs Boston Red Sox game 1 of the ALDS, Nelson Cruz went onto talk about how he wanted to eat some popcorn.

The live footage immediately cut to the the Rays dugout with half the players seen eating popcorn along with the hero of the Tampa Bay Rays’ 5-0 win, Randy Arozarena. However, that wasn’t the end of things though with Fox producers deciding the moment was perfect to take a swipe at Alex Rodriguez as they cut the screen to show him being fed popcorn by Cameron Diaz during Super Bowl XLV.

Fortunately for Fox, Alex was in a jovial mood unlike when the footage was first aired. Unlike him flying in a rage a string of years back, Alex was up for the joke with him talking about why him doing things like that was the reason he was single at the moment.
