Dhruv Jurel is an Indian domestic cricketer born on 21 January 2001 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. His full name is Dhruv Chand Jurel, and his father’s name is Chand Jurel. Ddhruv is popularly known for playing domestic cricket for the Uttar Pradesh team and also as a Batter (Wicketkeeper) player for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL. Dhruv primarily bats as a right hand Bat and bowls as a right arm Medium fast bowler.
Dhruv started playing cricket at a very young age during a summer camp in his school. Ever since then, he plays domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh since 2021. Dhruv got selected to play in the Uttar Pradesh U-14 team at the age of 14 and later got selected for the U-16 and U-19 teams.
Just recently, on 5 April 2023, Dhruv made his IPL debut while playing for the Rajasthan Royals against Punjab Kings. He scored 32 runs in the match and registered a strike rate of 213.33.
