Hardik Pandya has been named captain of the Indian cricket team for T20I matches as a result of his exceptional leadership in the IPL, where he guided Gujarat Titans to the championship in their first appearance in the Indian Premier League.
Since taking over as captain when Rohit Sharma was out of the country for 11 games, Hardik has led the national squad in the shortest possible time.
