For the Louisville Cardinals women’s basketball squad, where she continued to play basketball in college, she had a successful rookie season, averaging 11.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
In 2021, she signed up for the WNBA draft, and the Seattle Storm chose her with the eighth overall pick.
Hailey Van Lith’s professional career began when the Seattle Storm chose her in the first round of the WNBA draft.
In her first season, she scored 5.5 points, grabbed 2.5 rebounds, and gave 1.6 assists per game.
She also helped the Storm advance to the quarterfinals, where they were eventually eliminated in the second round.
