Pavel Krotov was a world champion freestyle skier from Russia, know his cause of death and age
He died suddenly at age 30 from a brain haemorrhage.
The Russian Freestyle Federation said that the news was true. Pavel Krotov died on Friday night, and it is thought that he would have had to get emergency care right away if he had wanted to live.

The head coach of the Russian national team, Alexander Pongilsky, said that Pavel Krotov had a brain haemorrhage because a blood vessel burst while he was sleeping. The skier was known for being good at aerials.

He represented his country at the 2014 Winter Olympics, which were held in his home country, but he didn’t make it to the final. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Pavel Krotov just missed out on a medal by coming in fourth.
Pavel Krotov first competed in the world championships when he was a teenager. The 2021 event in Almaty, Kazakhstan, was where he did best. In the solo aerials, he got bronze, and in the mixed team aerials, he got gold. He also won the World Cup on his own twice, in Canada in 2012 and in Moscow in 2020.

In a statement, the Russian Freestyle Federation said, “Many people remember Pavel as a friendly, personable, and courageous person. We express our deep and sincere condolences to the family, relatives, and colleagues of Pavel Krotov.”
