Several locations, including Little Haiti, Ocean Beach, and Vice City Mamba’s stadium, were visible on the map of Grand Theft Auto Vice City.Along with them, new districts such as Port Gellhorn and Yorktown were discovered, as well as a few islands at the bottom connected by bridges.
Although the cities are far apart, it is unlikely that players will have to travel long distances across the map. A metro station near Vice City’s airport can be seen on the map. This could serve as the game’s Fast Travel mechanic. This was also shown in the development footage that was leaked last year.
A similar feature can be found In Grand Theft Auto 4, where players can travel across Liberty City by subway train. Alternatively, a taxi service may be available in Grand Theft Auto 6. Since GTA 4, these two Fast Travel mechanics have been a mainstay in the series.
Tez2, a well-known insider, stated earlier this month that the developers may release additional content in the years following the release of GTA 6. This could result in the addition of more cities to the map.
While Rockstar Games has not responded to the map leak, the removal of the post suggests that it is legitimate in some way. However, its veracity is called into question in the absence of proper confirmation.
