During a recent IRL stream, Twitch streamer and OTK founding member Esfand unintentionally helps a thief while at the mall
Esfand, 25, is a well-known World of Warcraft YouTuber and Twitch streamer. On Twitch, he has more than 1.2 million followers who frequently watch his gaming content. Yet, his supporters were in for a shock in March when they, along with Esfand, saw a shoplifting incident.
Twitch Streamer Esfand unintentionally helped a thief while exiting a mall. Although the co-founder of One True King doesn’t appear to be in trouble, the incident happened during a recent IRL feed, and it was definitely shocking to see on camera.

In 2016 Esfand began his YouTube career, and the following year he started broadcasting on Twitch. He first gained popularity as a World of Warcraft live stream before going on to become a well-known PUBG streamer alongside Asmongold. Along with streaming video games, he has expanded to include real-world pursuits like weightlifting, boxing, and cooking. In October 2020, Esfand joined forces with Mizkif, Asmongold, Tips Out, and Rich Campbell to form the gaming company One True King, or OTK.
Esfand unknowingly aid a thrift getaway from a mall
This week, while live-streaming from a mall in San Francisco, Esfand unwittingly became involved in helping a shoplifter. Esfand kindly held open the door for a man who was leaving behind him as he did so while live-streaming on Twitch as he left the store. The unidentified male was observed leaving the business with a tablet and a sizable bag.
Two security guards swiftly followed after the supposed robber and Esfand also held the door open for them. Then, he understands what has happened. “Seize him! One of the guards can be heard calling after the thief: He just stole an entire computer.”

Esfand’s live feed was where the alleged crime was caught, and the video has since gone viral.

After assisting the thief, Esfand creates a Spider-Man parallel. As soon as he realised Esfand had kindly held open the door for a shoplifter, he couldn’t help but compare the situation to one of the most famous scenes in comic book history.
Oh frick, did I just open a door for a robber like Uncle Ben? Esfand may be heard saying, “Oh my god,” in the footage. Esfand alludes to the burglar who kills Uncle Ben in the Spider-Man tale in this passage. Some admirers have playfully given the Twitch streamer the nickname “Esfand Parker” after the shoplifting incident.
