The annual Boat Race 2023 also feature a women’s race and the upcoming race is the 77th race.
2023 Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race preview
As the teams rally up for their respective races, the ‘Dark Blues’ Oxford will be looking for a much needed win in the 77th women’s event. The Oxford women have lost in the previous five clashes. Their most recent loss was a 2 ½ length loss in 2022.
Meanwhile, in the men’s event, the Oxford’s men managed to end Cambridge’s three-year winning streak with just 2 ¼ length. As such, the ‘Light Blues’ will be out seeking a revenge and to retain their title.

This year, boat race event between the two teams will take place on the River Thames at Tideway. Over 250,000 people are expected to spectate the on the banks of the course, which extends about 4.25 miles from Putney to Mortlake.
