Although though Sony has already confirmed a freebie with eight titles scheduled to depart PlayStation Extra and Premium very soon, the announcement date for the whole batch of PS Plus April 2023 free games is still a week away but there are internet guesses
The month of March was successful for PS Plus customers. Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and the anime Dark Souls, also known as Code Vein, are among the must-have free games for March 2023. While April promises to be even better because of a multiplayer day one release, March was a wonderful month for subscribers.
(Playstation) PS Plus April 2023 free games list, predictions, games leaving
The free games for PS Plus subscribers in April 2023 will be revealed on March 29. The release date for the following round of freebies is confirmed to be April 23rd in a March PlayStation Blog entry from Sony. The final Wednesday before a launch is generally when upcoming freebies are announced, but it has seldom occurred on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or even a Friday.
Be sure to take advantage of the current Essential freebies for Code Vein, Battlefield 2042, and Minecraft Dungeons while they last.
PS Plus confirms free games for April 2023
Meet Your Creator has been revealed as one of the PlayStation Plus April 2023 free games. Dead By Daylight creator BeHaviour Interactive is behind this. It’s a first-person multiplayer game that launches for subscribers on launch day and involves raiding other players’ mazes.
Both the PS4 and PS5 versions of PlayStation will support it. According to the PlayStation Plus release from BeHaviour Interactive, it will continue to be free to download until May 1.
Predictions and games leaving
We expect that as part of the continuous partnership between Sony and Ubisoft, this will ultimately join Extra and Premium. There are fewer high-quality Ubisoft titles available for PlayStation’s subscription service now that it has been available for more than a year.
One of our predictions for next month is Riders Republic, however, the list of titles phasing out of Extra and Premium on March 21 is as follows (via PlayStation Portal):
- Danger Zone
- Ghost of Tale
- Dungeons 2
- Monster Energy Supercross
- Override 2 Super Mech League 2
- Victor Vran
- Velocibox
- The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
