2023 WTT Singapore Smash day 5 winners, score, sixth day schedule, & prize money pool distribution
At the 2023 WTT Singapore Smash, Ying Han has dazzled onlookers after qualifying for the Women’s Singles quarterfinal with an outstanding performance against seventh-seed Chen Xingtong by score of 9-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-9. Last year’s competition saw the 39-year-old German stalwart lose in the first-round, but she came into Wednesday’s match with a spring in her step after winning her first two rounds without dropping a game. Ultimately, her confidence allowed her to hold clinch the match and qualify for the next round.
After registering a decisive 3-0 victory over Wang Manyu & Fan Zhendong, third-seed Japanese pair Hina Hayata & Tomokazu Harimoto have secured their berth in the Mixed Doubles final at Singapore Smash 2023. Hayata & Harimoto were the youngest remaining pair in the draw but, they were far from being the underdogs because they have already played at big stages including the 2021 World Championships final.
