Watch: Kent’s Jordan Cox Pulls Out Cristiano Ronaldo Celebration After Outrageous Catch In The Vitality Blast T20 Final

Jordan Cox was in the form of his life with the man of the match emulating the Cristiano Ronaldo and his celebration after his insane catch during the Vitality Blast T20 final

The bagpiper of his side’s win against Somerset, Jordan Cox delivered an all-round performance in the Vitality Blast T20 final. He marked his presence in all facets of the game with him being rightfully serenaded with the man of the match award for his outstanding efforts on the night.

Scoring 58 in a measly 28 balls, Cox’s cameo was just the boost Kent Spitfires needed to be propelled to 167 whilst batting first. However, Cox wasn’t just done there with him being equally electric on the field as he snagged a slew of crucial catches to ensure his side kept picking up wickets at regular intervals.

His catch to send back Lewis Gregory was one which really stood out though with Cox pulling off an insane effort on the field. In what was an incredible piece of athleticism and thinking, Cox divided full length over the rope before parrying away the ball from going over the fence to a waiting Matt Milnes.

Somerset could only manage 145 in reply in the 168 run target they were chasing to give their first title in 14 years. And captain Sam Billings was quick to recognise Cox’s contributions as he lauded the player for his showings.

Sam Billings said: “He’s been our best player this year in the T20 Blast. At times he’s played a completely different knock where he’s just needed to get his head down and then you’ve seen his raw ability that we all see.”
