She was born on June 4, 1998, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in USA. She also has Italian ancestry.
She was born and raised in Spain before relocating to England when she was eight years old. She attended Portslade Aldridge Community Academy.

Her career
At an early age, Tara Norris started playing cricket for Horsham Cricket Club while attending Portslade Aldridge Community Academy. She made her county debut for Sussex in 2014, and in 2015, she was a member of the team that took home the Women’s Twenty20 Cup.
She had successful county campaigns in 2018 and 2019 and participated in domestic tournaments with the Southern Vipers, Loughborough Lightning, and Southern Brave. She was selected for the United States team for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualification in 2021, marking her debut on the international stage.
