Bhuma is the daughter of Bhuma Nagi Reddy, who was a well-known politician. Mounika studied at Lawrence School, Lovedale, and did her further studies at Swinburne University, New York Film Academy. She presently lives in Hyderabad, India. Reddy’s height is 5 feet 5 inches and her weight is approximately 55 kg as of 2023.

Bhuma got elected in a by-election to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in early 1992 just after the sudden death of his brother, Bhuma Sekhar Reddy, who was also an MLA from the constituency in Kurnool district. He has 4 children named, Bhuma Naga Mounika, Bhuma Akhila Priya, Bhuma Jagat Vikhyat Reddy, Bhuma Mounika.
Nagi Reddy was born to Parents Bhuma Bali Reddy, and Bhuma Eswaramma. Bhuma Nagi got married to Shobha Nagi Reddy, who is the daughter of former Andhra Pradesh minister S. V. Subba Reddy, who became a renowned politician.
