The UEFA Champions League is where every big club wants to be, but the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea could miss out on a top-four Premier League spot ahead of the 2023/24 season
As for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, they also have their work cut out. Still, can Conte’s guide Spurs into the Champions League by securing a top-four Premier League finish?
Can Antonio Conte take Tottenham into the Champions League for the 2023/24 season
Tottenham’s Chances
The Champions League is arguably the biggest club competition on the planet, attracting enormous interest from bettors worldwide. Led by the state of New Jersey, sports betting in America has become much easier thanks to the law changes. New Jersey was one of the first states to legalize sports betting, opening up a whole new world of opportunities for bettors, including welcome bonuses and free bets. Tottenham are currently priced at around +225 to break into the top four this season.
If Spurs do indeed miss out on a Champions League place via the Premier League route, they could qualify for UEFA’s elite club competition for next season by winning this year’s tournament (+2500). Tottenham face AC Milan over two legs in the Round of 16.
After a narrow loss in Italy, they have work to do in the second leg. It was a tight game in Milan, with the home side edging it 1-0. However, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium can be a fortress at times, and Conte’s side are capable of turning the tie on its head.

Who Are the Top-Four Contenders?
Arsenal and Manchester City are battling it out for the Premier League title this season, and both look nailed on to finish in the Champions League places. Manchester United are flying under Erik ten Hag and look likely to join them in the top four.
Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are having a season to remember. They have not lost many games this term, but too many draws could hinder their top-four ambitions. The Magpies are catchable, but Tottenham need to find consistency over the latter months of the campaign.
With Liverpool and Chelsea seemingly out of the running, Spurs will kick themselves if they fail to reach next term’s Champions League via the league route.
Can Spurs Find Form?
Tottenham have struggled for consistency all season long. On their day, the Londoners look capable of beating any team. In early February, Spurs beat Man City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Harry Kane scoring the only goal of the game to become Tottenham’s all-time top scorer.

On the flip side, Spurs have suffered league defeats to the likes of Aston Villa and Leicester City. They were particularly poor against the Foxes, crashing to a 4-1 defeat at the King Power Stadium just a week after stunning Man City. Tottenham have also struggled against the big clubs overall.
Failing to reach the Champions League could have a big impact on a club the size of Spurs. Some top sides will miss out, but can Tottenham bulldoze their way into the top four this term? They have a top manager in Conte and a world-class squad of players – will that be enough to get them over the line?
