The company’s formal name is Acrannolife Genomics Pvt Ltd, and it was founded in 2018. Entrepreneurs Agragesh Ramani and Avinash Ramani started the company. Since its inception, the company has analyzed more than 5000 samples and changed more than 1500 lives.

Trunome focuses on offering computational platforms for the early identification of chronic illnesses in order to provide technology solutions for current lifestyles. It uses a B2B2C business model and uses genetic testing and tailored treatment to meet the demands of the healthcare sector.

Its pricing is competitive, with prices starting at $500 (about ₹41K), whereas its rivals charge $3500 (around ₹2.87 lacs). The business has agreements with 6 hospitals and makes about ₹35 lakhs each month.

For 1% ownership, the owners of Trunome asked for an investment of ₹1.5 crore from influential investors. After some analysis and consideration, Peyush made a final offer of Rs. 1.5 crore for 2% of the company’s equity. After then, Anupam Mittal suggested the same amount for 1.75% equity.

Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Vineeta Singh, and Anupam Mittal subsequently made a joint offer of ₹1.5 crore for 2% of the shares. The entrepreneurs accepted the offer.
