The 2023 edition of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) features eight teams from regional Indian cinema industries.

The Celebrity Cricket League CCL is a championship featuring Indian regional stars, which started way back in 2011. This year’s edition of the league will feature 19 matches with the final match set to take place on March 19. The League will consist of Eight teams consisting of- Mumbai Heroes, Karnataka Bulldozers, Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers, Punjab de Sher, and Bhojpuri Dabbangs.
Telegu Warriors in red hot form
The Telugu Warriors are currently on a winning spree and are currently on top with four points and a 2.229 net run rate. They moved to the top after recently beating the Bengal Tigers by eight wickets in Jaipur on Saturday, February 25. On the other hand, following the loss, the Bengal Tigers have gone down to number six in the table. They have not managed to win a single game till date.
CCL 2023: Telugu Warriors vs. Bengal Tigers match recap
The recent match between Telugu Warriors and Bengal Tigers was a competitive match with both teams having equal winning chances. Jishu Sengupta displayed a fine form as he scored 83 runs, which helped the Bengal team set a massive target of 115 runs.
However, Ashwin Babu and Akhil Akkineni’s partnership proved enough for the Warriors. The duo played a big role in helping the warriors chase down the target with 11 balls to spare.
